Row time!

Hoeing rows that will soon be covered in a low tunnel for added protection from the elements. In this picture our crew is using both stirrup hoes and paddle hoes to remove young weeds by their root base. If the entire root and stem is not removed from the soil it will certainly return and disrupt vegetable plant growth, therefore it is very important to do it right the first time.
