Strawberries

 We planted strawberry crops into our plot this week. Two different cultivars were planted; Sweet Sensation and Brilliance. The sweet sensation strawberries have a better taste and are preferred compared to the brilliance cultivar. To compare growth, we planted strawberries in the low tunnel as well as open field. After transplanting we applied compost and hay around all the strawberry plants. Of course we watered them in as well !
