Before laying down the black plastic mulch in our high tunnels, we added an extra thin layer of compost and fertilizer to each bed. After cutting the plastic mulch to be the length of our beds, we secured it in place by applying soil to the edges to hold it down. Once we had both beds securely covered with the plastic mulch, we began to transplant our strawberries. This past Friday was great, we all worked together as a team to quickly get everything in order to transplant the strawberries. Great teamwork!
