We finally filled all the pots with our 1:1 coco coir and perlite mix. Since all the pots have been filled/stacked we were able to place the irrigation lines on Friday. We also transplanted onions, our first crop, into the hydroponic system. The onions were planted into the lowest level of the system. We will not harvest large onions in the hydroponic system however, at the end of the season we will still have many onions to harvest. Once the entire hydroponic system was set up, we were able to run the irrigation for the first time this season. We are excited to see what we can grow this season in our hydroponic towers!
